Hi friends,
Recently i have done a small research on the Changing Of Customer Preferences Behind Selection Of Colors.
In the earlier days the color silver made the world of automobiles to glow. Many consumers initially preferred this color. But with the shift towards more globalization in the automotive industry, regional preferences are influencing the global trend. In most of the regions of the world along with the color silver black and white has started gaining in interest among consumers. Both silver and black/black effect saw a 2 percent gain in global popularity in the 2010, with white remaining flat over last year. Gray increased in popularity by three percentage points. While regional preferences remain for red and blue, both have fallen three percentage points this year over last. According to me a trend toward brown and beige increasing in popularity as well.
According to the survey the top 10 global vehicle colors are as follows:-
From the above image we can say that, silver and black colors are mostly preferred nowadays by the customers and are very close by only 2%.So we can conclude saying that in 2010 silver ,black ,gray and white colors are taking the lead in terms of customer preferences.
As per the forecasted data according to me in next 2-3 years this pattern will remain more or less constant.
I hope in your mind you also would have the first four colors for your cars.
My vote goes to metallic gray..... :-)
